I am waiting for a candidate to stand up and say:
"Here is what I stand for, what I plan to do if elected and here are my credentials. I am running because I love this country and want what is best for it. If you believe I am the person to lead the country for the next 4 years, please vote for me - if not, I respect your decision."
What a stupid idealist I am, huh? So be it.
Maybe the next time I interview for a job I should find out who the other candidates are and tell the interviewee(s) what is wrong with them and all of the bad decisions they have ever made and maybe throw in some bad rumors I heard.
