New Mower

About a week and a half ago I killed the hand-me-down Lawnboy we got from Molly's Dad, so I have been researching a new mower. I am pretty certain I will be going with either an electric or a no-motor, no-engine rotary push mower. Reports from two people that have the rotary push mowers are that they are a real pain unless you mow very frequently - which I don't. One of those folks has offered to let me try theirs out, which I might do. I also know that both these people have rotary push mowers that aren't highly rated by the internet rating sources I found. The Brill Razorcut is supposed to be much better than the other brands, but there is no way for me to try that one out and I would have to order it on-line. So I am considering giving up on the rotary push mowers and going with a cordless electric.
I have narrowed the cordless electrics down to two Neutron models or a Black and Decker. Both are highly rated by on-line sites - some preferring the Neutrons and some preferring the B&D. I tried out a friend's Neutron CE5 last night and was pretty impressed. I can go to Young's KC Mower Center to compare the CE5 and the larger CE6. Lowe's has the B&D CMM1200 that I am also considering.
If I decide to go with the electric, I mow look at all three and have a new mower tomorrow!

Clint,
it's great to see you blogging again! Mowers are fine and all, but sheep, now that's lawncare!
we're still debating for the right spot for the beautiful piece you brought. It's so subtle and gorgeous,
thanks
Pete
