I enjoyed, as usual, watching the Little League World Series this weekend. But this was the first time I had heard them say the Little League Pledge - why do they have to start it that way? Especially now that Little League is an international organization.

Pledge
I trust in God
I love my country
And will respect its laws
I will play fair
And strive to win
But win or lose
I will always do my best

P.S. I still can't believe that one kid is 13 years old - 6'2" and 214 lbs.
